angels son ver3

Artist: Sevendust
Title: Angel’s Son
Album: Strait Up
Tabbed by: Barry Wrench
E-Mail: Ktuluaxe12@hotmail.com
This is a really kick ass song that is great to play. I think I have everything tabbed out right, a
friend of mine and I played it with 2 guitars and it sounds just like the recording. I have it
tabbed for 2 guitars, no bass, but the bass follows the guitar for the most part. It seems that the
last guy who tried to figure out the tuning thought he was some big shot that knew what he was
talking about. That tuning is really wrong, so it seems that he was the fuck who shouldn’t be
playing guitar. Here’s the correct one. Email me with suggestions or a better way to play the song.
Have fun!

Guitar #1 plays above during the verse without the lead riff. You can double in with a second
guitar. It sounds good to have 1 guitar playing the high notes and the other guitar doing the bass
powerchords.

Soon... Gone?.... Soon... Gone
Go back to play the part with the lead again. During the verse, the chords are the same, but the low
DAD notes should be played the entire time instead of in slashes. Then just play through the song
like the first verse. The only exception comes at the end of "I have so much to say" where the
guitar (I think the bass only does it in the song) can slide up like this. You can hear this if you
listen to the recording

the alignment is a little off here but the chords are are strummed.
I also experimented with these last two chords the G and the A and played them
in the last chorus. The A sounds nice with the D and the G sounds good with the Bb.
Just something different that sounds cool.
and now the end

Let me know if this sounds good, i think it sounds right, but i could always use the input.
Have fun jammin!
